USA: Hundreds rally for LGBTQ workers' rights during Supreme Court hearings

Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the US Supreme Court in Washington DC on Tuesday to demonstrate in favour of LGBTQ workers' rights as the Supreme Court Justices heard three major workplace gender and sexual orientation discrimination cases. About three dozen protesters faced arrest because they were blocking public roads in front of the Supreme Court. The outcome of the hearings... Еще could lead to a landmark federal resolution where all 50 states adopt anti-discriminatory laws for LGBTQ workers. After four years since gay marriage became legal nationwide, currently only less than half of the states have similar workplace laws and protections in place.
