USA: Hundreds protest English Defence League founder's speech at Columbia University

Hundreds of protesters in the New York borough of Manhattan turned out against English Defence League co-founder and former leader Tommy Robinson's speech at Columbia University, Tuesday. The speech is entitled 'The Fall of Europe: Mass Immigration' and other far-right commentators are due to speak at the Ivy League university in the coming weeks. Robinson, born Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has been accused of inciting racial hatred and Islamophobia in the past.
