Several hundred people gathered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on Thursday to hold a candlelight vigil in a memory of a twenty-five year old Bijan Ghaisar. Friends, family and members of the community lit candles and said words in a memory of Ghaisar who was fatally shot by the US Park Police on the night of November 17. «He was passionately anti-violence. And he cried... Еще for the most recent mass shootings,» describes Bijan’s father. Ghaisar was a US-born Iranian-American accountant from Virginia. According to his family he was unarmed when police shot him in the head tree times. Family says they received neither information nor details regarding the case surrounding their son's death, nor the names of the Park Police officers who were involved.
