USA: Hundreds call for reforms at 'Spirit of King' march in Chicago

Hundreds of protesters marched through Chicago's West Side on Friday, to call for police reform and economic development, during the «Spirit of King» march which ended near the home where civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. once lived. Protesters, among whom politicians, clergy, and community activists, were seen marching, chanting slogans and holding banners calling for police reform, improved housing, and affordable health care among others. The protest was related to the death of 46-year-old black man George Floyd, who was killed during his arrest in Minneapolis on May 25.
