USA: 'Hold police accountable' — BLM activists rally on Black Friday in Seattle

Large crowds of 'Black Lives Matter' (BLM) demonstrators rallied in Seattle on Black Friday. The protesters aimed to raise awareness of the issues faced by society, on the most consumerist day of the year, as well as remind people of those who have been killed at the hands of police violence. One protester held a sign demanding justice for Charleena Lyles, a pregnant mother-of-four who was... Еще fatally shot and killed by police in June this year. Others held signs reading «Black Lives Matter. Hold police accountable. End racism», and «Shame on the SPD. Hold bad cops accountable», amongst others. BLM protests have become an annual event on this day, with this year marking the fourth consecutive year the group have demonstrated in Seattle on Black Friday.
