Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders launched his universal healthcare bill, dubbed 'Medicare for All' at a press conference at the Hart Senate Office building in Washington DC, Tuesday. The proposed bill would seek to provide every US citizen with a Universal Medicare card that would provide basic health care access. «I have no doubt , none whatsoever that this nation sooner than people believe... Еще, will in fact pass a Medicare for All single payer system and finally, finally healthcare will be a right for all in the US,» Sanders told the audience. Last July, the US Senate voted down the repeal of Better Care Reconciliation Act, also known as 'Obamacare', by a vote of 57 to 43. It has since then failed to introduce an alternative.
