Еще going to spell it, and I want you guys to say C-A-P-S.» Washington Capitals fans: «Caps, Caps, Caps.» Thousands of Capitals fans took the streets of Washington D.C. on Thursday night to celebrate the team's first Stanley Cup and the city's first title in the major sports championship since 1992. The Capitals won the Stanley Cup after defeating the Las Vegas Golden Knights 4-3, in Game 5. The team had only reached the Stanley Cup finals once before and the semifinals twice.
