Kennedy made the painting in 1955, which later became a wedding gift for his niece, son of Robert Kennedy. Reportedly, the bids on the artwork would start from $ 42,000 (€35,300). The director of Americana at Heritage Tom Slater said that as both of the works were tied to the American Presidents, «the more valuable and interesting it is to collectors». He added that the public relations at Heritage «create a certain presidential contest between the Kennedy painting and the Trump painting to see which one will drive the most attention». The auction will take place on December 2.
