Protesters took the street of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Sunday and into the early hours of Monday morning after a police officer reportedly killed a 27-year-old man Ricardo Munoz on Sunday afternoon.
Several protesters were seen standing off with police officers in front of the city Police office. Some throwing objects prompting the police to respond with tear gas.
According to reports, police were called in for a domestic disturbance, where they found Munoz, armed with a knife, who then charged police officers. He was then fatally shot.
The Mayor's office has reportedly issued a statement saying that the incident was recorded on a body camera, and that the officer involved has been placed on leave pending an investigation, which remains ongoing.
