USA: Bikers rev up support for gun ownership after Florida school shooting

Motorcyclists... Еще rode through the streets of the city, before gathering on the Capitol lawn to listen to speeches and share common ideas about the right to bear arms. One of the speakers included former sheriff Richard Mack, who is best known for his role in a successful lawsuit that managed to declare portions of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act unconstitutional. «The state legislature here has one role and one purpose. It is to make sure that your right to bear arms is never impaired,» Mack told the crowd. Recent attempts by the state legislature to pass gun control measures have also provoked the ire of local biker chapters. The gun lobby has also come under increasing pressure following the Parkland high school shooting in Florida, which left 17 students dead.
