US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump gave their condolences for the victims of Sunday's mass shooting at the Las Vegas Metro Police Department on Wednesday, stating that «America is truly a nation in mourning.»

Trump also responded to recent comments by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on the need for changes to the second amendment in the US.
