Former marine Christopher Ahn was denied bail by a federal court in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Ahn is suspected of being one of ten activists that staged a violent raid on the North Korean embassy in Spain on 22 February. The group allegedly stormed the embassy in Madrid, attacked embassy staff and held them hostage, and stole electronic material which they later offered to the FBI.
Footage shows... Еще Ahn’s mother and other family members leave the court after his bail application was rejected.
Ahn was arrested on 19 April in Los Angeles and although the charges against him are secret, it is known that a Spanish court has applied for his extradition.
