A 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck in southern California on Friday evening.
The tremors caused crashing sounds at a parking lot in Los Angeles. Water spilt out of a swimming pool in the city, demonstrating the severity of the seismic shaking.
This quake comes a day after a 6.4-magnitude temblor. That was the strongest to hit southern California in nearly 20 years. The epicentre was near just... Еще north of Ridgecrest, Kern County.
In the past 10 days, there have been 117 earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater on the Richter scale, according to the US Geological Survey.
