UN: Saudi Arabian FM condemns Qatar as terrorist haven

Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Adel al-Jubeir, condemned Qatar for “providing a safe haven to those who have violated the law”, during his speech for the 72nd Session of the UNGA in New York on Saturday. Talking about the Qatar crisis, the foreign minister said “Doha's practises of providing financial support to terrorism, while disseminating violent hate speech is unacceptable,” adding “the... Еще position that has been taken by our four states is to clearly demand that Qatar follow the principles of international law in combatting terrorism.” Adel al-Jubeir also highlighted his country’s support for the people of Yemen, saying “We have spared no effort to come to the aid of Yemenis, indeed the amount of aid provided by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in recent years has exceeded eight billion dollars and we have provided.” He also touched upon the Israeli-Arab conflict, calling for a two-state solution. “There is international consensus on the two-state solution based on internationally recognised resolutions, as well as the Arab peace initiative in order to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital within 1967 borders,” he said.
