UN: Russia vetoes further probe into Syrian chemical attacks

The Russian envoy to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, exercised the country's right to veto UN resolutions after a renewed attempt to probe chemical weapons attacks in Syria, in New York City, Thursday. It is the tenth Russian veto on Syria since the outbreak of the conflict in 2011. The move drew heavy criticism from the US delegate Nikki Haley who said, «Russia has vetoed before to... Еще prevent accountability in Syria.» Bolivia also voted against the inquiry, while China and Egypt both abstained.
