UN: Poroshenko repeats call for peacekeeping mission in Eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that «the necessity of the peacekeeping operation [in Eastern Ukraine] is extremely rising [sic]», at a stakeout at the UN's headquarters in New York City, Wednesday. Poroshenko said «the United Nations should have a mandate to the whole occupied territory on the east of my country occupied by Russia» to «stop the penetration from the Russian Federation... Еще of troops, armament and ammunition», adding «the purpose of the peacekeeping operation should bring peace and Ukrainian sovereignty on the occupied territory not to frozen [sic] the occupation, not to frozen [sic] the conflict.” He was speaking shortly after his address to the United Nations Security Council during which he voiced his request “to deploy peacekeepers in Donbass.”
