The court hearing on the arrest of RIA Novosti Ukraine editor-in-chief Kirill Vyshinsky was postponed until June 1, during a session in Kherson City Court on Tuesday. Vyshinsky’s lawyers explained that the full defence team was unable to attend the day’s session, prompting the judge to push back the hearing until June 1, at 10:00 local time (08:00 GMT). Vyshinsky is being held on suspicion of treason and criminal proceedings have commenced under Part 1 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Security Service. The crime carries a sentence of up to 15 years.
