Ukraine: RIA journalist’s arrest extended for 2 months

Kherson Court on Wednesday extended the arrest of Ria Novosti Editor-in-Chief Kirill Vyshinsky until September 13. Vyshinsky was remanded in custody without bail for 60 days by the Kherson City Court in May. He is being held on suspicion of treason and criminal proceedings have commenced under Part 1 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Security Service. The...
