Ukraine: Editor-in-Chief detained in custody for two months

RIA Novosti Ukraine Editor-in-Chief Kirill Vyshinsky was remanded in custody without bail for 60 days by the Kherson City Court on Thursday. On Tuesday, the Kiev office of Russian news agency RIA Novosti was raided by Ukrainian Security Services, while the head of the bureau Kirill Vyshynsky was detained earlier in the day. Vyshinsky is being held on suspicion of treason and criminal... Еще proceedings have commenced under Part 1 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Security Service. The crime carries a sentence of up to 15 years.
