Ukraine: Citizens against gov. corruption unite in tent city next to parliament

Hundreds of protesters gathered on Wednesday in a tent camp outside the Ukrainian parliament in Kiev, during a mass protest demanding a more forceful fight against government corruption. Protesters put up several dozen tents in a park and street next to the parliament — a sign that they would not move until their demands were fulfilled. Protesters called for an anti-corruption court to be set up... Еще, for MPs to lose their immunity from prosecution, and for changes to the electoral system. Protests started on Tuesday, and saw 5,000 people take to the streets of Kiev. Tuesday's rally was attended by former Georgian president and current Ukrainian opposition party leader Mikhail Saakashvili, who called for President Petro Poroshenko to step down.
