London's Hillingdon Hospital closed its emergency wards on Wednesday, following a coronavirus outbreak among its staff.
The outbreak was declared at Hillingdon Hospital on Friday and as of Wednesday, 70 workers were reported to be self-isolating.
«There will be a second wave, it's going to happen. And you know, the man at Number 10 [Downing Street] is going to get the blame either way,» said Londoner John after calling Hillingdon Hospital «wonderful.»
«The staff are very prepared. They've given hand sanitiser, obviously, masks, and everybody's doing what they can, I think, to minimise the impact of the outbreak,» said James, another local who came for a blood test.
The United Kingdom has reported over 288,000 cases of coronavirus, according to Johns Hopkins University, while more than 44,600 people have died with the virus as of Wednesday.
