Police were deployed to Sloane Square in central London, on Wednesday after a vehicle mounted the sidewalk and struck pedestrians.
Two of the victims including a cyclist and 69-year-old Bill McGhee were reportedly taken to the hospital and one man was arrested with driving offenses.
According to the son of McGhee, Charles Birch, «The cyclist looked in terrible shape, they were in very very bad shape, my father went over the car. They have taken him to hospital for broken ribs and internal bleeding.» He added that, according to witnesses, the car was later abandoned on Exhibition Road.
Reportedly both victims have since been discharged from hospital.
Police were on-site at Sloane Square with the area cordoned off. According to the Metropolitan Police, the incident was not terror-related.
