Hundreds of people joined a silent march in memory of the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire in London, Saturday, four months after the blaze ripped through the residential tower killing at least 80 people. Demonstrators marched the streets around the 24-storey north Kensington tower block demanding justice for the victims and former residents. Some were seen carrying candles with signs saying... Еще «Justice for Grenfell. We demand the truth.» General Secretary of the Fire Brigades Union Matt Wrack attended the event, saying: «We need to get to the bottom of how this happened. I think it’s a very fundamental question about the whole housing and safety regime that we have in this country.» Wrack stressed that «people should never forget what happened at the Grenfell Tower,» and that they should ensure that the government won't be «allowed to forget» about it either. Organisers intend on holding similar commemorative marches on the 14th of every month.
