Dozens of Kurdish protesters and supporters of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gathered in front of the Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, in central London on Monday. Protesters could be heard chanting ‘racist pig’ while carrying placards denouncing the Turkish leader as a ‘terrorist’ and waving Women’s Protection Unit (YPJ) flags. Erdogan’s supporters, draped... Еще in Turkish flags, also turned up as he arrived. Police were careful to avoid incidents such as the clashes outside Wokefield Estate near Reading during Erdogan’s business trip on Sunday. The Turkish President started his three day visit to the United Kingdom by attending a lunch organised by the British Turkish Tatlidil forum, while later on this week he will be meeting Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II.
