The UK Home Office in Westminster, London was placed on lockdown on Thursday following a knife attack outside the government building in which one man was injured. The suspected attacker was later arrested outside St John’s church near the Home Office.
London’s Metropolitan Police release a statement on their Twitter page on Thursday afternoon: «Police called at 13:06 to Marsham Street... Еще, Westminster following a report of a man with a knife. Officers attended to find one man with knife injuries.»
Footage shows a police cordon around the Home Office and crime scene investigators inspecting the belongings of the suspect at St John’s Church. A knife and 'defence spray' could be seen outside the building.
