UK: Man City 'still the best team in the world' — Klopp ahead of big match

Liverpool FC head coach Jurgen Klopp said he still believes that his next opponents, Manchester City, are the best team in the world during a press conference in Liverpool on Wednesday. «The opponent is for me, is still the best team in the world. That's how it is. And I don't say that to say that, I said that weeks ago because it's 100 per cent my opinion because of the way they play, all the... Еще things they achieved, the ability and all that stuff,» Klopp said. On the eve of the match, Klopp described it as «one of the most difficult games you can play in the modern football world, away at [Manchester] City, we felt that plenty of times. It's a really strong football team with an outstanding manager.» Liverpool will play third-place Manchester City following a run of nine consecutive Premier League victories, but Klopp dismissed talks of being the favourite, saying «It sounds like we go there and we are more likely to win the game than they are. It's just not true.» Title-holders Manchester City lost three of their past four Premier League matches. A slump of form that saw them fall to third place, seven points below first-placed Liverpool FC. They will host Liverpool FC on Thursday January 3rd. Kick off time is scheduled at 20:00 local time.
