Londoners reacted to the reopening of pubs on Saturday, amid an easing of coronavirus restrictions.
«Now I have the feeling that I'm back in London again. I finally see a lot of people, so, it feels really good,» said Eva, a resident.
«In Great Britain everybody is a little more relaxed I think. I don't know if that's good or bad, but people are not wearing masks here. It's pretty much just partition screens so, I don't know, I don't think it's going to keep people from anything,» commented another passer-by, Maria.
Pubs, restaurants and barbershops have reopened on July 4. Under the eased restrictions, the 2-metre distance rule is being reduced to 1 metre in England, with Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales opting against a reduction.
This comes as the UK experienced its lowest number of confirmed cases in a single day since March 15.
