UK: London metro stations nearly empty day after reports of crammed trains

Footage filmed in London on Wednesday showed key railway stations, which are normally among the busiest in the UK, nearly empty amid the coronavirus lockdown. King's Cross, St. Pancras and Liverpool Street stations were almost deserted with just a few passengers on the trains and at the stations trying to keep social distancing. On Monday evening, Prime Minister Boris Johnson intensified the UK... Еще's response to the coronavirus crisis by announcing a series of strict measures that put the country under lockdown for three weeks starting from Tuesday. The public is not allowed to leave their homes except for buying food or medication, for exercising once a day and for travelling to work when impossible to do home office. All non-essential shops have been closed and public gatherings of more than two people were banned.
