Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp expressed his dismay over the administration and pricing of this year's two European finals at a press conference in Melwood on Friday.
The German took aim at travel agents and hotels in Madrid, where Liverpool will face Tottenham in the Champions League final on June 1, comparing it to when petrol stations inflate costs during holiday season.
«But it’s not in... Еще another part of the world like Baku for the Europa League Final,» he said. «The people who make these decisions, I don’t know what they have for breakfast.»
Arsenal will play Chelsea, both from London, in the Europa League final on May 29 but face a 5,000 mile round trip to a city which is closer to India than it is to England.
«These decisions need to be much more sensible, much more reasonable. It looks irresponsible. I don’t know how they do it,» he continued.
Looking ahead to Sunday, when the Reds will play Wolves and Manchester City will play Brighton in the Premier League finale, Klopp admitted the title will likely be heading to Pep Guardiola's men.
«City will win and we will win and in the end City will be champions but there is still a game to play,» he said.
Both games kick off at 2pm GMT with Liverpool needing both to win and for City to drop points on the Premier League's final day if they are to bring the title to Anfield for the time in 29 years.
