Thousands of mourners gathered to pay their final respects to British-Kurdish filmmaker Mehmet Aksoy at the Kurdish Community Centre, in London's Haringey, on Friday. Aksoy, who served as a press officer for the People's Protection Units (YPG), was killed in an attack on the Raqqa military base he was stationed at by self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) last September...
