UK: Glasgow attack not being treated as terrorism — police

Glasgow police said a stabbing attack in the city center on Friday was not being treated as an act of terrorism. Assistant Chief Constable Steve Johnson said the suspect was shot by officers, while “six other men are in hospital for treatment, including a 42-year-old police officer, who is in a critical but stable condition.” Johnson said investigations into the incident were ongoing with no further risk posed to the community.
