New Zealand cricket team captain Kane Williamson said anything can happen in the World Cup semi-final match against India as he spoke to journalists at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester on Monday.
«It's one of those occasions where every team has worked so hard to end up in the last four where, to a certain extent, it all starts again where the day comes and anything can happen and... Еще all sides have beaten one another on a number of occasions throughout the last few years. So it's a really exciting opportunity for all teams», said Williamson.
The game on Tuesday will be a second meeting between Williamson and his Indian counterpart Virat Kohli in a semi-final match. Their first showdown happened 11 years ago in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup where they were both captains of their respective teams.
Australia is facing England in the second semi-final on Thursday.
