Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola said that 'everybody counts that we are going to lose‘ during a press conference in Manchester on Wednesday. Guardiola analysed the situation of his team the day before a crucial match against top of the table Liverpool FC: «The reality is clear. We are seven points down. This will be the second game of the second leg so there are a lot of points to play... Еще for. It is a big opportunity for us to reduce the gap. Our focus is the same. Everybody has been asking what will happen if we lose. If you lose, you lose. Everybody counts that we are going to lose.» Guardiola was asked about his team performance in defence and the goals it conceded, more than in the previous year. Guardiola pointed that «we have to see how many chances we concede. We are the second team in Europe right now with more chances [that] we create, but we are not precise enough.» Title-holders Manchester City lost three of their past four Premier League matches. A slump of form that saw them fall to third place, seven points below first-placed Liverpool FC. Meanwhile Liverpool FC arrives at the match following a run of nine consecutive Premier League victories. Manchester City will host Liverpool FC on Thursday January 3rd. Kick off time is scheduled at 20:00h local time.
