UK Environment Secretary and Conservative Party Leadership Candidate Michael Gove seemed unruffled by revelations he had used cocaine as a young journalist as he launched his Tory leadership campaign in a speech delivered to journalists and MPs atop Millbank-Tower in London on Monday.
Gove alluded to his humble beginnings by recounting his origins as an adopted child who had never known his birth... Еще mother.
«They [my adoptive parents] gave me love, total, absolute and unstinting, and as a result of their sacrifices, I'm here today,» Gove said as he launched his campaign for Number 10.
Gove appeared firm on Brexit and criticised the government for failing to deliver on the Article 50 promises saying, «It's not enough just to believe in Brexit, you've also got to be able to deliver it.»
«I will ensure that we are… taking back control of our money, our borders, and our laws,» he added.
Gove’s campaign launch came after the Tory leadership candidate admitted to taking Class A drugs more than 20 years ago.
