The convoy of coaches reportedly carrying 83 evacuated British nationals and medics from Wuhan arrived at the quarantine under police supervision at Arrowe Park Hospital in Merseyside, Friday.

The coaches took the passengers from the Oxfordshire RAF Brize Norton airbase, which is 121km (75 miles) north-west of London. The passengers will be kept in quarantine for 14 days, until officials are sure the people have not contracted the deadly coronavirus. 27 European nationals were also reportedly on board the flight.
Confirmed cases of the coronavirus have increased in Europe, officially overtaking diagnoses of the SARs epidemic that was responsible for the deaths of 770 people. In China alone, 6,000 people have been confirmed as having contracted the respiratory disease, which has already claimed the lives of 132 people. Germany is the second European country after France to confirm its first case of coronavirus, which was first detected in central city of Wuhan.
The outbreak has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
At least 213 people have been killed so far, with more than 9,700 infected in China alone. There are more than 100 cases reported worldwide across 20 countries, including Germany, France, the UK, Canada and the US.
