Boxing fans gathered at a Manchester pub on Saturday, to watch fellow Mancunian Tyson Fury and his challenger WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder's highly anticipated heavyweight title rematch.
The fans were seen cheering and celebrating as Fury defeated Wilder.
«Very surprised, I did not expect it to end like that. After the loss in the first fight, he came correct,» said one Tyson Fury fan. «From the beginning of the first round, he 'outboxed' him completely. It was a fight, it was somewhat unfair because he completely unboxed him compared to the first fight last year, he's come correct,» he further added.
Wilder’s corner threw in the towel after a comprehensive beating at the fists of Fury in front of a sold-out MGM Grand.
Fury put down the ‘Bronze Bomber’ in the third and fifth rounds before the seventh round TKO.
Immediately after the fight, fellow British boxer Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn called for a unification bout, which would crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis back in ‘99-‘00.
