Turkey: Women's rights activists descend on Ankara

Hundreds of protesters gathered in the Turkish capital of Ankara as part of the Kiyafetime Karisma women's rights movement, Saturday. The feminist group's name translates as 'Don't mess with my outfit' and is often written alongside an image of a coat hanger, with many of the demonstrators waving miniskirts and chanting «we will wear what we want.» The protest aimed to be as inclusive as... Еще possible, whether a woman wore a headscarf or a miniskirt, after many had reported that they had been called upon to dress more modestly.
