Spain's Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos said that his team is «only thinking about winning» during a press conference in Istanbul on Monday, ahead of his squad's UEFA Champions League showdown against Turkish Galatasaray.
«I think the image the team should always display, a united team, is of a team that still trusts their coach, just like the coach trusts his players,» stressed Ramos.
«We... Еще think about winning, I reiterate the same, because we do not think if Zizou [Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane] continues [coaching] or not,» he added.
The comments came amid speculation in Spanish media about whether coach Zinedine Zidane will continue in his role after the side's 3-0 defeat against Paris St Germain last month.
Zidane also admitted that the speculation about his future «bothers» him but added that «what I have to do as a coach is to give my maximum, do the same with my players, and that's it. I have to think positive as always.»
Real Madrid will face Galatasaray in Istanbul on Tuesday for a decisive showdown in group A of the UEFA Champions League.
