Turkey: Putin and Erdogan continue bilateral talks along with Turkish and Russian delegations

Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan alongside Turkish and Russian delegations, in Ankara on Thursday. The presidents reportedly talked for around two hours one on one, after which they continued in an expanded format, including Russian and Turkish delegations compromising Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian Minister of Energy... Еще Alexander Novak, Russia's Special Envoy on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Hulusi Akar, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek among others. The two presidents reportedly discussed bilateral relations, as well as the fight against terrorism and current developments in the Middle East and in Syria in particular. The leaders are expected to hold a joint press conference later this evening.
