Turkey: Media head accuses Saudis of spreading fake news about Khashoggi's disappearance

The head of the Turkish-Arab Media Association Turan Kislakci accused the Saudis of «using fake accounts on social media» to spread disinformation about Khashoggi case, when speaking to reporters outside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday. «They are using anonymous social media accounts to blame Turkey and imply that Turkey is behind the disappearance of Khashoggi,» said Kislakci, who... Еще was a friend of the missing Saudi journalist and dissident Jamal Khashoggi. Kislakci also noted that Turkish intelligence «will reveal the surveillance videos and find evidence for the murder.» Khashoggi was last seen entering his country's consulate in Istanbul on October 2 to prepare documents for his forthcoming marriage. His fiancée claimed she waited outside for him for 11 hours, but he did not return. Turkish officials suspect the journalist was murdered.
