Fans of Istanbul football clubs, Galatasaray and Besiktas, have found a way to compete with each other while football is on a break.
They were filmed on Wednesday filling their respective stadiums with cardboard cut-outs of the most loyal fans as Turkey's top league games are set to resume on Friday.
Besiktas and Galatasaray are two of the most famous and popular Turkish football clubs, with both having world-renowned fan bases following them at home and around the world.
Galatasaray, currently in third place, just three points behind the leaders Trabzonspor, travel to struggling Rizespor in a match they are expected to win on Sunday. This means the fans won't be able to see their cut-outs until the team returns to action at home against Gaziantep on June 21.
Besiktas, struggling by their own high standards this season, find themselves in fifth place. The club will play at the Vodafone Arena against Antalyaspor on Saturday, where at least 5,000 cardboard cut-outs were already on display. Besiktas said it aims to raise the number to 10,000 before kick-off.
