Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan hailed the growing relations between his country and Russia, alongside the latter's president Vladimir Putin, in Ankara, Thursday. «Our ministers and their Russian counter parts maintain their relations. It is pleasing that the relations are getting stronger everyday with the joint efforts of both countries. I hope in the near future we will continue... Earlier in the day, Putin held one-on-one meeting with his Turkish counterpart that lasted for approximately two hours. After that the sides continued discussion alongside Russian and Turkish delegations that included Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, Russia's Special Envoy on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Hulusi Akar, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek among others.
