Turkey: Dynamite blasts 12-thousand-year-old ancient city to dust

Turkish authorities blasted huge rocks in the 12-thousand-year-old ancient city of Hasankeyf on Wednesday, after falling rocks in the area were deemed too dangerous, Wednesday. Caves filled with rocks in Hasankeyf were blasted to make way for a new dam which will be built in the area.
