Turkey: At least 38 people killed after two deadly avalanches

Two deadly avalanches claimed the lives of at least 38 people, including a rescue team that was searching for victims of the first avalanche near the town of Bahcesaray in Van province on Wednesday. Reports say the first avalanche took place around 17:00 local time (14:00 GMT) on Tuesday, killing 5 people, while the second took place on Wednesday claiming the lives of 33 rescue workers.
