Turkey: Aquarium man breaks world diving record

The record for living in the coldest sea for the longest time was broken by ‚Aquarium Man‘ Cem Karabay in the waters of Gokceada Island in Turkey on Tuesday. Karabay, the first and only Turkish underwater sportsman to enter the Guinness Book of Records, broke the record for 'living in the coldest sea for the longest', by staying submerged for 15 hours and 11 minutes in temperatures below 15... Еще Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit). Cem Karabay surpassed the previous record belonging to Norwegian athlete Nils-Roar Selnes by staying underwater inside a two-metre high Trojan horse made on the 20th anniversary of Troy (archaeological site located in Hisarlik), which is being added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
