Protesters clashed with security forces in the Tunisian town of Remada on Friday, after civilians accused the army of shooting and killing a local young man on Wednesday.
Protesters set fire to tyres blocking roads in protest against Tunisian authorities.
«We are not terrorists, our only concern is the young man who was working and was killed by a bullet in the head. The soldier might not have been trained, but he could have directed bullets at the tires of the truck instead of the head,» said protester Muhammad Qatofi.
The man, identified as Mansour Troumi, was shot and killed Wednesday while reportedly driving a truck through a military zone in which civilians were not allowed.
