US President Donald Trump hailed the recent announcement by Pfizer on a vaccine against COVID-19 in his first public remarks since the election on November 3 in Washington DC on Friday. "As a result of Operation Warp Speed, Pfizer announced on Monday that its China virus vaccine is more than 90 percent effective. This far exceeds any and all expectations. Nobody thought they'd get to that level. And we have others coming which we think will be at equal level - maybe more, if that's possible," said Trump. The president went on to say that the vaccines would be first made available to frontline medical workers and high-risk Americans. Trump made the statement as he was yet to concede the loss of the election to Democratic rival Joe Biden.
