Tokyo residents keep lonely eels company via video calls during lockdown

An aquarium in Tokyo set up tablets for its eels, as the partial lockdown in Japan has kept visitors at home. Footage filmed on Sunday shows the monitors lining the tanks with virtual spectators keeping eels company. Staff are unable to monitor the health of the animals if those don't peek their heads out of the sand, so the zoo came up with this solution to keep them active. Mandatory...
