Thousands of runners clad in Santa Claus costumes dashed through the streets of Riga’s Old Town on Sunday to raise money for children suffering from locomotor disorders. Driven by the generous idea to help children with disabilities, citizens of Riga covered a distance of 1,2 km (0.75 miles) in Santa garb, marking the 11th time the race has taken place in the city.
