Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the strong bond between Delhi and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as he co-chaired a joint summit in Bangkok on Sunday.

Modi who arrived in Bangkok yesterday is visiting Thailand on a three-day visit.
The 35th ASEAN summit kicked off on Thursday, October 31st and is due to end on Monday, November 4. State representatives of Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam are expected to discuss various topics including connectivity, sustainability, and environmental and financial inclusion among ASEAN states.
